These terms cover use of the Lakeshore Marine Group CRM operated by Lakeshore Marine Group, including its optional connection to Intuit QuickBooks Online. By using the CRM or connecting QuickBooks to it, you agree to these terms.
The service
The CRM is an internal business system for Lakeshore Marine Group staff to manage customers, boats, service, estimates, invoices, and related shop operations. It may exchange customer, item, invoice, and payment information with QuickBooks Online when an administrator connects the two systems. It is not offered as a general public software product.
Who may use it
Only people Lakeshore Marine Group authorizes (employees and contractors with a user account) may sign in. Accounts must not be shared. You must keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
- Use the CRM and QuickBooks connection only for legitimate Lakeshore Marine Group business.
- Do not attempt to access data or features you are not permitted to use.
- Do not misuse the integration to copy, scrape, or redistribute QuickBooks or customer data outside our business needs.
- Comply with Intuit’s QuickBooks Online terms and applicable law.
QuickBooks Online
Connecting QuickBooks is optional and controlled by a CRM administrator. While connected, the CRM may read and write QuickBooks customers, look up items, and create or update invoices and payments as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not currently sync QuickBooks Vendor lists. You (or your QuickBooks admin) are responsible for the accuracy of data in QuickBooks and for maintaining your Intuit account.
Disconnecting
An administrator may disconnect QuickBooks at any time in CRM Settings → Integrations, or by revoking the app in Intuit. After disconnect, the CRM will no longer call QuickBooks APIs. Data already stored in either system remains subject to each system’s retention practices.
No warranty
The CRM and integration are provided for our business use on an “as is” basis. We work to keep them reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Accounting outcomes remain your responsibility to review in QuickBooks.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lakeshore Marine Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the CRM or the QuickBooks connection. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to these tools is limited to amounts you paid us specifically for the CRM software in the twelve months before the claim (often zero when the CRM is operated in-house).
Changes
We may update these terms and the Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top of each page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
